My autobiographical narrative is a report of events in my life. It is largely (but not exclusively) presented in chronological order. It contains both inner and outer events — inner events include thoughts, memories and feelings, whereas outer events are things like people I’ve met, places where I’ve lived, institutions where I’ve worked, etc.
The narrative is interspersed with a layer of contemporary comments and reflections. Actually, to me, the reflections are more interesting, because the purpose of this whole exercise is not the report of the past itself, but what I and others can learn from it. See further ‘Purposes‘)
My narrative is mainly presented in writing and images (still photos and a few drawings). I have no plans on presenting my life in audio or video format.
