Bits and pieces of a comprehensive narrative
An episode is “a coherent narrative unit within a larger dramatic work” (Wikipedia).
In other words, if facts are the atomic building blocks, episodes — short narratives about singular events and situations that are based on my memories and the archiv — are the ‘macromolecules’ of the account of my life.
Many of these episodes take the form of anecdotes.
